2025 ICEA Chess Summer Camp
Join us this summer for an exciting and educational experience at the 2025 ICEA Chess Summer Camp! Open to kids of all skill levels—from beginners to advanced players with a USCF rating under 1600—our camp runs from July 14 to July 25, 2025.
You can choose between a 1-week or 2-week option. Please refer to the schedule for details on the differences between the Week 1 session (July 14–18) and the Week 2 session (July 21–25).
Camp Highlights
🎯 Skill-Based Training
Customized sessions tailored to each child’s level, providing personalized instruction and promoting steady progress.
♟️ Beginner to Advanced Levels
From first-time learners to aspiring tournament players (USCF under 1600), our expert coaches guide students to sharpen their game and build confidence.
🏆 Tournament Preparation
Campers will develop tactical skills, strategic thinking, and game analysis techniques to prepare for both unrated and USCF-rated tournaments.
🤝 Interactive Learning
Daily activities include puzzles, training games, and group challenges that foster critical thinking, collaboration, and a love for the game.

We blend serious chess training with fun, interactive activities to keep kids engaged, energized, and excited to learn.

Chess and math share a powerful connection—both nurture logical reasoning, pattern recognition, and decision-making under pressure. By bundling chess with math training, students develop a well-rounded problem-solving mindset that enhances both academic success and lifelong learning skills. It’s a smart and strategic way to boost their growth this summer!
NOTE: Campers will be grouped by skill level at the start and may be adjusted during the camp to ensure the best learning experience for everyone.
